The Hop Farm,fresh hop bines, dried hop bines for sale

Fresh Hop GarlandsTownend farm is a traditional Herefordshire Hop Farm and Mark and Lesley are the third generation of the Andrews family to farm here.

Nearly 200 acres of land is split between the growing of hops, apples, arable and grass. 

The hops are a mixture of traditional tall varieties and newer dwarf varieties. They are  grown for the English ale market and breweries such as Greene King, Marstons, Youngs, St Austell Brewery and Black Sheep Brewery. We also sell fresh and dried hop bines for decoration.

FRESH AND DRIED HOP BINES/GARLANDS FOR SALE

During the hop harvest our best hop bines also called hop vines, are individually selected and cut by hand, dried on a traditional kiln and sold for decoration. Fresh hop bines are available to buy during September, (please email or phone for details)the hop bines can be collected from the farm or we can mail them to you on an overnight service so they arrive beautifully fresh and ready to use.  We sell dried hop bines throughout the year.  We also make hop pillows from our most aromatic hops. Traditionally, fresh hop bines are brought into the home each harvest and provide beautiful natural green foliage for autumn and christmas decoration.
